Freeway A9 : Going south from the Rhone Valley towards Spain. Take Exit #37 : Sign marked "Narbonne - Est Les Plages Gruissan Narbonne-Plage" . Following the signs for Gruissan (Departmental roads D168 - D 31 - D32), drive approximately 3km from the freeway exit. There will be a sign for Abbaye des Monges on the left-hand side of the road and a big dirt road lined with plantane trees. Turn left here.
